Lima, Peru

E depois do relaxe em Santiago, o Peru oferecia perspectivas de uma viajem de 3 semanas mais movimentada. Dois dias em Lima onde deparamo-nos com uma manifestação/festa/comício na praça principal da cidade. Incentivar a pontualidade dos peruanos era o tema. Ridículo talvez só na Europa, afinal estamos na América do Sul.

After a quiet stay in Chile, Peru offered the perspective of busier days for the 3 weeks of travelling around the country. Two days in Lima and we were caught in the middle of a big gathering/party/assembly about the importance of time keeping for all the Peruvians. Do not forget that this is South America.

Nem os grupos folcolóricos e musicais faltaram para abrilhantar o discurso do Presidente. O discurso, não sei se foi mobilizador, mas parece que o Presidente chegou atrasado.

All the taditional dancing and singing groups from around the country were present before the President speach. Don´t know if the words of the President made an impact because himself was late for the speach.
